The small-cap-focused team is led by Ludovic Douge, a Secondaries Investor Young Gun.

French placement agent and advisory firm Jasmin Capital has made a pair of additions to its secondaries advisory unit.

The Paris-headquartered small-cap-focused firm has appointed Yris Deguenon as an associate to work on direct and LP portfolio secondaries, according to a statement. Yris was previously an M&A analyst at the Budapest office of KPMG.

Diane Randriamahandry joins as a research analyst working across secondaries and fundraising. She was previously an analyst at French state investment bank BPI France.

Jasmin Capital focuses on private equity, private debt and infrastructure markets. Its secondaries team is led by Ludovic Douge, who featured in Secondaries Investor‘s 2019 Young Guns ranking of the most impressive secondaries professionals under the age of 36.

Jasmin closes around 10 deals a year, a majority of which are GP-led processes, Douge told Secondaries Investor at the IPEM conference in Cannes. The firm primarily advises LPs on sales.

The firm also worked with Stafford Capital Partners on its last infrastructure secondaries fundraise. Stafford Infrastructure Secondaries Fund II raised €400 million against a target of €250 million by final close in June 2018, according to data from sister publication Infrastructure Investor.

Jasmin was founded in 2011 by former engineer Jean-Christel Trabarel. It employs nine professionals.
